Job summary

Globus Medical, via NuVasive Clinical Services, seeks a Neuromonitoring Specialist/Associate Neurophysiologist to provide intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgeries. You will collaborate with top surgeons, monitor the patient’s nervous system, and support ongoing technological innovations.

Training and career development are provided; travel up to 25% is required. The role emphasizes patient safety, detailed documentation, and teamwork in a field-based setting across multiple hospitals.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and no previous professional experience.
• Must be CNIM eligible via one pathway as defined by the ABRET website.
• Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and/or anatomy & physiology and/or technical troubleshooting preferred.
• Operating Room (OR) experience preferred.
• Strong time management & organizational skills, and ability to manage competing demands in the OR.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented setting with surgeons and staff in English.
• Ability to travel regularly.
• Be qualified for and maintain privileges at all required hospitals, including vaccination requirements.
• Be eligible for medical malpractice insurance coverage provided by the company.
• Obtain and maintain the CNIM status.

Responsibilities

• Obtains a detailed medical history and discusses monitoring modalities with the surgeon.
• Communicates monitoring information to the surgeon and surgical team during cases.
• Displays and labels waveforms for latencies, amplitudes and conduction times per guidelines.
• Identifies appropriate protocols and performs troubleshooting to ensure accurate data collection.
• Completes documentation and prepares IOM logs and uploads.
• Maintains neuromonitoring equipment and conducts maintenance checks.
• Adheres to company policies and compliance requirements.
