Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience.
• CNIM certification is required.
• Knowledge of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) and related anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Obtains a detailed medical history and consults with the surgeon regarding structures at risk and monitoring modalities.
• Communicates monitoring information to the surgeon and team during the case.
• Displays and labels waveforms, measures latencies, amplitudes and conduction times per guidelines.
• Identifies protocols and performs troubleshooting for accurate data collection.
• Completes documentation and prepares IOM logs and timely uploads.
• Maintains all neuromonitoring equipment and performs maintenance checks.
• Adheres to company policies and applicable compliance requirements.
