Job summary

Cohere Health is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our Integrations team. You will design, develop, and test healthcare integration services that connect Cohere Health with providers, payers, and partners.

You will work in an agile environment, contributing to APIs, cloud automation, automated tests, and production support, while advancing interoperability in healthcare. You will collaborate across teams to deliver secure, scalable integrations and continuously improve system reliability and

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of software development experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and integration patterns.
• Experience writing unit and/or integration tests.
• Familiarity with databases and data modeling.
• Understanding of version control and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable and scalable services for integrations.
• Develop secure integrations with internal/external platforms and third-party systems.
• Build and support APIs and work with external APIs and data exchange patterns.
• Work with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and software delivery practices.
• Create automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and improve testing frameworks.
• Use monitoring and observability tools to troubleshoot issues and improve reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API security best practices.
• Collaborate with product, operations, QA, and other teams to deliver integration solutions.
