Job summary

SWIVEL is seeking a talented individual to plan, coordinate, and manage the assembly of new software applications into existing systems. You will support multiple departments by determining systemic needs, implementing solutions, creating support documentation, triaging production issues, and instructing users about the interface.

In this role, you will analyze, problem solve, and leverage emerging technologies to deliver clear, measurable results in financial products.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • Agile Professional certification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in business analysis, software development, or system analysis with integration solutions.
  • Familiarity with HTML post, WebService, Web API, and integration mechanisms.
  • Strong data understanding and ability to document systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes systems from end to end and business processes.
  • Builds relationships with vendors to drive revenue and growth.
  • Triages production issues and documents findings for dev teams.
  • Maps end-to-end processes and documents requirements.
  • Coordinates with multiple teams (vendors, IT, Operations) and manages the backlog.

Job description

SWIVEL is seeking a talented individual to plan, coordinate, and manage the assembly of new software applications and programs into the existing systems. Supports multiple departments by determining its systemic needs, recommending changes, implementing solutions, creating support documentation, supporting, and triaging production issues, and instructing users about the interface.

Essential duties include the following:
  • Analyzes systems from end to end and business processes.
  • Builds relationship with existing and new vendors to develop revenue and relationship growth.
  • Triages production issues.
  • Documents the findings and helps the developers/architects solve the issues.
  • Processes mapping for end-to-end system interactions and documentation of such requirements.
  • Coordinates with multiple teams such vendors, IT, Operations and managing the backlog of work.
  • Designs new integrations with architects and understands end to end system/user behaviors/usages.
  • Helps the implementation for new clients.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • Agile Professional certification required.
  • Working knowledge of business analysis, software development, and/or system analysis experience that would include designing and developing software integration solutions and architecture.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML post, WebService, Web API, and mechanisms of Integration.
  • Working knowledge of Application Development/EDW/BI and system analysis.
  • Strong problem resolution, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to understand data structures.
  • Strong interpersonal, consulting, and client engagement skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and take on a consultative role with stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively to technical, non-technical audiences, and senior management.
  • Able to construct diagrams using various tools; an understanding of UML and BPMN methodology would be very useful.
  • Able to travel locally or nationally by car or plane.
  • Able to sit for long periods of time performing sedentary activities.
  • Able to stand, stoop, and kneel to file for long periods of time.
