Metrohm USA is seeking a Junior Service Specialist to join the Riverview, Florida Service Center. This role combines hands-on bench repair, calibration, and customer support to ensure top-quality service for analytical instruments.

You will work with experienced technicians, troubleshoot hardware, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet repair timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical background required.
• Minimum 1 year of technical repair, service, maintenance, or troubleshooting experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory instrumentation at the component level.
• Use schematics, testing equipment, and docs to identify issues.
• Perform calibration, testing, and verification of repaired instruments.
• Test new instrumentation prior to customer shipment.
• Assist senior technicians with complex service and repair projects.
