Job summary

AMA-ALU CORP is seeking an Entry-Level Industrial Mechanic to join our manufacturing maintenance team. You will support inspection, maintenance, and repair of production equipment, and gain hands-on experience with mechanical systems and plant machinery.

You'll perform preventive maintenance under supervision, learn from experienced mechanics, and develop skills in troubleshooting, lubrication, and equipment installations in a team-driven setting. Safety and reliable operation are priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school or coursework in industrial maintenance is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment.
• Ability to learn mechanical troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Dependable and safety-conscious team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance under supervision.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical equipment and identifying problems.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and repairs.
• Lubricate machinery and replace basic components.
• Maintain a clean, safe maintenance area.
• Follow OSHA requirements and safety policies.
• Maintain maintenance records and report issues to supervisors.
• Work with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Read equipment manuals and basic schematics.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
