Job summary

AISIN Electronics Illinois, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Intern to support production equipment reliability and manufacturing operations. You will work alongside experienced maintenance professionals to learn preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and document repairs.

You will gain exposure to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic techniques, participate in root cause investigations, maintain records, and help organize spare parts while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology or related field.
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Manufacturing, automotive, or electronics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assisting with preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
Supporting equipment repairs and troubleshooting efforts.
Learning mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance techniques.
Participating in root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects.
Assisting with equipment inspections, maintenance documentation, and repair records.
Supporting spare parts inventory and maintenance organization efforts.
Helping maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Gaining exposure to industrial equipment, manufacturing processes, and maintenance best practices.
