Job summary

Alamo Industrial is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, hoists, cranes, welders, pumps and conveyors, and support general plumbing and electrical tasks.

Responsibilities include following maintenance schedules, repairing mechanical and hydraulic systems, using precision tools, and ensuring safety and housekeeping standards while minimizing downtime.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Technical school training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ machine or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Current/insurable driver’s license for travel to parts pickup.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, fix and maintain plant equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, hoists, cranes, welders, fans and conveyors.
• Light welding and hydraulic pump repairs for equipment.
• Repair and rebuild pumps, belts, bearings and lights as needed.
• Follow safety, housekeeping and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
