Burrow Global in Houston, TX is seeking a Junior I&E Designer to support the automation division. Working under detailed instructions, you will contribute to 2D CAD drawings, instrument location plans, and isometrics, gaining hands-on experience in I&E design.

This long-term assignment emphasizes learning, accuracy, and collaboration with engineers and vendors, with opportunities to develop design criteria, review drawings, and adhere to industry codes and standards.

Formación

• 3–5 years of I&E drafting/design experience using AutoCAD and CadWorx.
• Fast and accurate drafting skills.
• Strong communication skills for team interaction with engineers, supervisors, and clients.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work in a time-conscious and efficient manner.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare 2D CAD drawings using AutoCAD and CadWorx (instrument location plans, isometrics, sketches).
• Create and update loop drawings and verify loop check details.
• Analyze and recommend solutions based on project objectives and guidelines.
• Develop and review design specifications under supervision.
• Review drawings and vendor equipment documentation for compliance and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with drawings development including instrument index and location plans.
• Adhere to industry codes, standards, and department procedures.
• Gain exposure to various areas of the I&E design process.
