Job summary

Seabrook Solutions seeks a junior level Mechanical Engineer to support NASA facilities at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). The role focuses on planning, development, installation, operation, and maintenance of HVAC equipment and systems, ensuring reliability and safety in a dynamic research environment.

Responsibilities include developing specifications, interfacing with customers, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver complete technical packages and project documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex engineering problems and document findings clearly.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and software used in engineering analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a range of analysis or review tasks under the supervision of higher grade engineers.
  • Develops scope, work statements, specifications and packages for procurement of outsourced technical consulting, operations/repair, or other services.
  • Generates complete specifications for the most complex projects.
  • Provides expert advice regarding PM and PT&I programs for system performance, operational deficiencies, and methods to increase reliability and improve efficiency.
  • May train other engineers on technical issues related to the research, testing and analysis of engineering assignments.
