Qualifications include a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 10 years of related experience; FE is required with PE progression preferred. Travel and security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited school.
• Ten years of job-related experience in mechanical engineering and design.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (FE) and progression to PE desired.
• Excellent communications and management skills; working knowledge of computer systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope, work statements, specifications and packages for outsourced technical consulting or services.
• Generate complete specifications for the most complex operations and repair projects.
• Mentor engineering team members and train others on technical issues.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, financial and program management teams to define system requirements and interfaces.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system/subsystem specifications and test procedures.
• Interface with internal and external customers from quotation to final acceptance and testing.
