The Berlin Steel Construction Company is seeking a motivated Junior HR Generalist to join our team in Kensington, CT. You will support the workforce across the employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to day-to-day HR administration—while driving employer branding and social media initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice.

You will manage recruiting for shop and office roles, maintain the ATS, and collaborate with leadership on branding strategies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, communications, marketing, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with full-cycle recruiting for shop and office roles, including job descriptions, posting roles, and resume screening.
• Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
• Maintain the ATS to keep candidate records and pipelines up to date.
• Conduct initial phone screens and participate in preliminary interviews.
• Partner with leadership to develop and execute employer branding strategy.
• Manage and create content for career-focused social channels highlighting milestones, craftsmanship, safety culture, and employee spotlights.
• Promote open roles across social platforms to reach candidates in served markets.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee inquiries on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding, including offer letters and new-hire paperwork.
