Berlin Steel Construction Company in Kensington, CT is seeking a motivated Junior HR Generalist to support the employee lifecycle and help build a strong talent pipeline. The role also drives employer branding and social media marketing to position the company as an employer of choice.

You will handle recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, and engagement initiatives while coordinating with leadership to showcase craftsmanship and culture across channels such as LinkedIn and Instagram.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• 1–3 years in HR, recruitment, or marketing/communications.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or construction environments is a strong plus.
• Basic understanding of HR practices, employment standards, and recruitment pipelines.
• Prior experience with Rippling is a plus but not required.
• Strong familiarity with professional social media platforms and digital content creation tools (e.g., Canva).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and discretion with confidential information.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with full-cycle recruiting for shop and office positions: drafting job descriptions, posting roles, screening resumes.
• Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
• Maintain the ATS to keep candidate records and pipelines up to date.
• Conduct initial phone screens and participate in preliminary interviews.
• Partner with leadership to develop and execute an employer branding strategy.
• Manage engaging content for LinkedIn and Instagram highlighting milestones, craftsmanship, safety culture, and employee spotlights.
• Promote open roles across social platforms to increase candidate reach.
• Serve as first point of contact for HR policy inquiries, benefits, and procedures.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding, including offer letters and new-hire paperwork.
• Maintain confidential records in Rippling.
• Support employee engagement activities and company events.
