WSP is seeking an Early Career Highway Engineer to join our New York Transportation Team in Troy, NY. The role focuses on roadway design, geometric design, and related transportation infrastructure projects, from concept to final design.

Under supervision, you’ll assist with data collection and analysis, support design production, and help ensure compliance with safety guidelines and industry standards. Travel may be required based on project needs.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• 0–1 years of post-education experience.
• Excellent research skills with an analytical mindset.
• Familiarity with design/build processes.
• Familiarity with civil construction laws, codes, regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with technical writing and office software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Mansioni

• Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from sites, surveys, blueprints, GIS data, and other sources for project development.
• Deliver analysis, plans production and other technical activities for state and local agencies and private clients.
• Assist with basic professional civil engineering work related to site conditions and transportation channels.
• Perform routine engineering functions and provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements and safety.
• Generate complete, accurate documentation using electronic systems and drawings.
• Conform to safety guidelines and site procedures for data collection and construction.
