Colliers Engineering & Design in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an entry-level highway/roadway engineer to begin a career in transportation design. You will contribute to design tasks under supervision while learning through hands-on project work.

You will work with MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil3D to produce deliverables, gain practical experience, and develop professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Basic knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, principles and practices.
• Ability to read, write and understand English in job communications.

Responsibilities

• Acquire knowledge and develop basic skills in highway/roadway design.
• Apply techniques, procedures and criteria to tasks.
• Prepare low-level general designs and technical data.
• Assist with permits, material testing, drawings and CAD work.
• Work under direct supervision on all tasks.
• Use MicroStation/OpenRoads/AutoCAD Civil3D within budgets and deadlines.
