Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking motivated Entry-Level Highway/Roadway Engineers to join our Pittsburgh, PA office! If you're a recent civil engineering graduate eager to start your career in transportation design, we encourage you to apply!

You will contribute to projects of all sizes, from local roadway improvements to major state and interstate highway initiatives, participating in planning, alignment studies, and construction documentation, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• EIT certification is preferred.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Basic knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, principles and practices.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for job communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop basic highway/roadway design skills.
• Apply techniques and criteria to assigned tasks.
• Prepare basic engineering designs and technical data.
• Assist with permits, material testing, drawings and CAD work.
• Exercise judgement under direct supervision on tasks.
• Work in MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil3D to meet budgets/deadlines.
