AECOM is actively seeking an Entry-Level Highway Design Engineer to join its Transportation team in Pittsburgh, PA. This summer-start role provides hands-on experience with a broad range of transportation projects in the Greater Pennsylvania Area.

You will build analytic and design skills, draft construction plans under supervision, and contribute to roadway design work including geometry, traffic control, and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
• FE/EIT certification in any state is preferred.
• Ability to use spreadsheets, word processing, and standard Office software.
• Strong time management, task prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work productively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
• Adaptable to shifting priorities and able to take direction.

• Design roadway geometry, traffic control, signing and pavement markings.
