Colliers Engineering & Design in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an entry-level highway/roadway engineer to begin a career in transportation design. You will contribute to design tasks under supervision while learning through hands-on project work.

You will work with MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil3D to produce deliverables, gain practical experience, and develop professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Basic knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, principles and practices.
• Ability to read, write and understand English in job communications.

Responsabilidades

Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking motivated Entry-Level Highway/Roadway Engineers to join our growing team in our Pittsburgh, PA office! If you're a recent civil engineering graduate eager to start your career in transportation design,

Responsibilities

• Acquire knowledge and develop basic skills in highway/roadway design.
• Apply learned techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks.
• Demonstrate the ability to prepare low-level complexity general engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy.
• Assist with other project related tasks such as permit applications, material testing, drawings and CAD work.
• Exercise judgement on details of work and work under direct supervision on all aspects of tasks assigned.
• Work within MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• EIT (Engineer In Training) certification is preferred.
• Increasing proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, principles and practices.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
