Zusammenfassung

AECOM is seeking an Associate Highway Engineering Design Task Lead based in Eastern Pennsylvania with hybrid work options. You will provide technical leadership for highway designers on medium to large transportation projects in the Greater Pennsylvania Area, guiding design approaches and coordinating with multidisciplinary leads.

You will develop highway design criteria, oversee pavement and signal plans, manage constructability reviews, and support proposal development while mentoring staff

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and four years of highway transportation experience or equivalent.
• EIT Certification required.
• Valid US Driver’s License to visit project sites and offices.
• Must pass Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.

Aufgaben

• Oversee development of design criteria, horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, barrier/guiderail design, and spot elevation details.
• Oversee development of rigid and flexible pavement designs.
• Oversee signing and pavement marking plans and details.
• Coordinate construction phasing plans and maintenance of traffic with interdisciplinary teams.
• Identify utility conflicts and coordinate resolutions with stakeholders.
• Develop construction specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Oversee 3D Model development in OpenRoads.
• Prepare technical calculations and reports per client and AECOM standards.
• Contribute to staffing decisions and proposal development to win new work.
• Prepare presentations of technical findings, recommendations, and limitations.
