Qualifications

• Prior coaching experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid DPS Arizona FPCC fingerprint clearance card.
• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate.
• NFHS Concussion in Sports Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Holds organizational meetings for team prospects and encourages participation.
• Assesses players’ skills and assigns team positions.
• Develops practice schedules and organizes time for individual and team development.
• Schedules facilities for practices and competitions with athletics director.
• Coaches and instructs players on rules, equipment, and techniques.
• Monitors academic performance to maintain eligibility and communicate with parents.
