Qualifications

• Prior coaching experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid DPS Arizona FPCC required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing team prospects and encourage participation in the sport.
• Assist with assessing player skills and assigning team positions.
• Assist with developing practice schedules for individual and team development.
• Coach players on rules, equipment and techniques of the sport.
• Observe players and report needs for improvement to Head Coach.
• Assist with determining game strategy based on team capabilities.
• Maintain standards of student athlete behavior and supervise athletes.
• Monitor academics to ensure eligibility and encourage high standards.
• Follow procedures for athlete injuries and safety.
• Confer with parents/guardians regarding athletic performance as needed.
• Follow regulations governing the athletic program and proper equipment care.
