Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education required.
• Utah teaching license or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience with Family and Consumer Sciences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares students for college and career readiness.
• Develops and administers curriculum aligned with USBE and TCSD goals.
• Promotes a safe, engaging classroom for individualized and small-group instruction.
• Plans lessons and translates plans into learning experiences.
• Instructs in pathways: Child Development; Consumer Economics; Fashion Design; Food Science; Hospitality; Interior Design.
• Maintains records of student achievement and attendance.
• Encourages parental involvement and maintains communication.
• Coordinates with colleagues and participates in meetings.
• Ensures safe operation of equipment and inventory management.
