The teacher will cover physiology, nutrition, anatomy, wellness, and related topics; assess student progress, maintain records, and foster parent communication while adapting lessons for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Current Utah teaching license or ability to obtain one.
• USBE Health Science endorsement (6-12) or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related teaching discipline.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Successful prior teaching or student teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach Health Education and CTE Health Science aligned to USBE goals.
• Prepare students for career and college readiness.
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction for diverse learners.
• Maintain accurate records and report attendance and achievement; communicate with parents.
• Coordinate with staff and participate in meetings.
