Job summary

Tooele County School District is seeking a Part Time Cleaner at Stansbury High School to maintain a sanitary, safe facility for students and staff. You will clean classrooms, offices, gym, restrooms, and cafeteria, and perform minor maintenance on custodial equipment.

The role includes restocking supplies, responding to safety concerns, attending trainings, and supporting other maintenance staff. Schedule is 20 hours per week, 4 PM to 8 PM, Monday through Friday, with placement on the Support

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be 21 years or older to apply.
• Experience in maintenance or custodial work is desired.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned facilities and grounds (e.g. classrooms, offices, gym, restrooms, multipurpose rooms, pools, grounds, cafeteria, etc.) for proper functioning and usability.
• Performs minor maintenance on custodial equipment, classroom furniture and fixtures for proper functioning.
• Performs summer maintenance (e.g. strip/wax floors, moves furniture, painting) for summer construction.
• Replenishes classroom and restroom supplies for adequate quantities for daily use.
• Responds to immediate safety and/or operational concerns and notifies appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Responds to inquiries from staff, students, parents and/or visitors for information or actions.
• Supports other site maintenance staff for completing site custodial activities.
• Attends unit meetings, in-service training, workshops for gathering information and skills.
• Performs other related duties to ensure efficient functioning of the work unit.
