Job summary

Tooele County School District is seeking a School-Based Mental Health Therapist to support students at Stansbury High School. The clinician will conduct evaluations, plan interventions, and provide direct therapy within the school setting.

Responsibilities include collaborating with families and district teams, maintaining FERPA-compliant records, and aligning with MTSS initiatives to support student wellbeing and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health discipline is required.
• Current, unrestricted license from Utah DOPL as LCSW/CMHC/MFT required.
• Dual-licensure with USBE School Social Worker preferred.
• Three+ years of school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional evaluations of students' mental health conditions.
• Prescribe and implement treatment plans for mental health concerns.
• Engage in direct therapy using evidence-based methods.
• Collaborate with parents with consent and provide timely notices.
• Participate in MDTs and MTSS for student support.
• Maintain confidential records per FERPA and district policies.
