Jobot is seeking a Junior Estimator to join our mid-size GC team on healthcare construction projects up to $20M across Florida and the Southeast. The role focuses on preparing detailed cost estimates, collaborating with engineers and architects, and contributing to bid proposals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in construction, healthcare preferred
• Proven ability to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex documents
• Clear cost estimate communication to stakeholders
• Proficiency with estimating software and tools
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for healthcare projects (materials, labor, equipment)
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and architects to define project requirements
• Review design docs for cost implications and suggest savings
• Participate in bid meetings, provide cost insights and risk assessments
• Conduct post-project reviews to improve estimate accuracy
• Stay updated on healthcare construction trends to keep estimates competitive
