Job summary

LeoForce in the United States is seeking a Junior Estimator in healthcare construction to help build cost estimates for healthcare facilities. You will collaborate with PMs, engineers, and architects to translate design into accurate bids.

The role requires analyzing design documents, identifying cost-saving options, and contributing to competitive proposals while growing in construction management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably healthcare.
• Experience in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex technical documents.
• Strong communication to explain cost estimates to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in estimating software and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for healthcare construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other related costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates.
• Review design documents to identify potential cost implications and suggest cost-saving alternatives.
• Participate in bid proposal meetings, providing insight into cost estimates and potential project risks.
• Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate cost accuracy and identify areas for improvement in future estimates.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in healthcare construction to ensure estimates are up-to-date and competitive.
