Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to support licensed sleepwear, loungewear, and intimate apparel development in New York. The role focuses on graphics for licensed properties and coordinating with design, merchandising, and manufacturing teams.

You will gain exposure to the apparel development lifecycle, create tech packs, manage artwork files, and help ensure designs meet brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Illustration, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with Photoshop is a plus.
• Strong visual design abilities, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Interest in licensed merchandise and apparel product development.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Eagerness to learn about garment construction and apparel manufacturing.
• Experience preparing tech packs or working with apparel manufacturers is beneficial but not required.
• Packaging design experience is an additional plus.

Responsibilities

• Design original graphics, prints, patterns for licensed apparel.
• Prepare and maintain tech packs detailing placement, color variations, measurements, materials, and construction.
• Partner with design and merchandising teams to move products from concept to production.
• Inspect samples for graphic accuracy, color matching, artwork positioning, and specs; provide feedback.
• Coordinate with merchandising, production, and overseas manufacturers.
• Keep artwork files, tech packs, product specifications, and notes organized and up to date.
• Assist in creating packaging graphics and related documentation.
