Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to support licensed apparel projects including sleepwear, loungewear, and intimates in New York, NY. You will contribute to graphic development, tech packs, and collaboration with design and merchandising teams to drive product from concept to production.

The role emphasizes Adobe Illustrator proficiency, a strong visual eye, and interest in garment specifications and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required; familiarity with Photoshop is a plus.
• Strong visual design abilities, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Interest in licensed merchandise and apparel product development.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Artwork & Graphic Development: Design original graphics, prints, patterns for licensed apparel.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain tech packs detailing artwork placement and specs.
• Product Design & Development: Partner with design teams to move products through production.
• Sample Evaluation: Inspect samples for accuracy and provide feedback.
• Team & Vendor Coordination: Work with merchandising, production, and overseas partners.
• File & Specification Management: Keep files and notes organized for repeat production.
• Packaging Support: Assist in creating packaging graphics and related docs.
