Job summary

Integrity Towing Solutions in Raleigh, NC is seeking a motivated Junior Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team. You will assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on a mixed fleet of tow trucks, learning to service Dodge Ram 4500 chassis and Jerr-Dan towing systems.

Diesel experience is a plus, but we train the right candidate. During the first 90 days you will work day shift with senior mechanics; after that you’ll move to the night shift.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and some hands-on experience -- professional, vocational school, or personal

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on a mixed fleet of tow trucks
• Learn to service and maintain Dodge Ram 4500 chassis vehicles and Jerr-Dan towing systems
• Service tow dollies and associated towing equipment
• Perform routine service work such as oil changes, brakes, tires, lights, fluid checks, and inspections
• Help diagnose and repair both diesel and unleaded passenger vehicles under guidance of senior mechanic
• Keep shop and parts room clean and organized; assist with parts inventory
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using MS Office tools
• Partner with drivers and management to minimize vehicle downtime
