Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Mechanic 1 to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on trailers, diesel and gasoline powered vehicles, and plant equipment. The Night Shift runs 5pm–5am, requiring reliability and safety with strong attention to detail.

You will work under Mechanic 2/3 and Fleet Managers to build core maintenance skills, document work, and support on-call roadside service when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of vehicle maintenance experience.
• Must have basic tool set to perform preventative maintenance.
