Integrity Towing Solutions in Raleigh, NC is seeking a motivated Junior Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team. You will assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on a mixed fleet of tow trucks, learning to service Dodge Ram 4500 chassis and Jerr-Dan towing systems.

Diesel experience is a plus, but we train the right candidate. During the first 90 days you will work day shift with senior mechanics; after that you’ll move to the night shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on a mixed fleet of tow trucks
• Learn to service and maintain Dodge Ram 4500 chassis vehicles and Jerr-Dan towing systems
• Service tow dollies and associated towing equipment
• Perform routine service work such as oil changes, brakes, tires, lights, fluid checks, and inspections
• Help diagnose and repair both diesel and unleaded passenger vehicles under guidance of senior mechanic
• Keep shop and parts room clean and organized; assist with parts inventory
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using MS Office tools
• Partner with drivers and management to minimize vehicle downtime

We're looking for a motivated, hands-on Junior Mechanic who wants to build a career in fleet maintenance. Diesel or hydraulic experience is a plus, but not required -- if you have mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and the drive to learn, we'll train you. What You'll Do

• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on a mixed fleet of tow trucks, including both newer and high-milage vehicles requiring close attention
• Learn to service and maintain Dodge Ram 4500 chassis vehicles and Jerr-Dan towing systems, including hydraulic components
• Service tow dollies and associated towing equipment
• Perform routine service work such as oil changes, brakes, tires, lights, fluid checks, and inspections
• Help diagnose and repair both diesel and unleaded passenger vehicles under the guidance of our senior mechanic
• Keep the shop and parts room clean and organized, and assist with parts inventory
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using basic MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Partner with drivers and management to minimize vehicle downtime and keep the fleet road-ready

Training & Schedule

• First 90 Days: You'll work the day shift alongside our senior mechanic, learning our fleet, our equipment, and our standards
• After 90 Days: You'll move to the night shift, keeping the fleet serviced and ready while the trucks are in the yard
• Pay Review: Your training pay will be reviewed and increased after 90 days based on your experience and performance

Requirements

What You'll Need

• Basic mechanical aptitude and some hands-on experience -- professional, vocational school, or personal
• Diesel and/or hydraulic experience a plus, but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to take direction, follow safety procedures, and work as part of a team
• Willingness to work the night shift after completing the 90-day training period
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report background check

Acceptable Driving History

No employee in a driving-related position may have any of the following:

• Any drug or alcohol related offenses in connection with the operation of a motor vehicle
• Careless, reckless, or negligent driving
• Any felony involving a motor vehicle
• License is currently suspended, expired, or revoked
• No more than three moving violations during the previous 36-month period
• No more than one at-fault accident during the previous 36-month period
