Job summary
Transport Refrigeration Services is seeking a Fleet Service Truck Technician in Henderson, NC. The role focuses on preventative maintenance of trailers, trucks, refrigeration, and APU units, with troubleshooting across fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brakes, suspension, and cooling systems.
You will replace brakes, handle trailer ABS, perform FHWA inspections, tire services, and general trailer repairs. Night shifts include differential pay; ASE certs boost compensation, with PTO from day one and
Qualifications
- 1+ year of shop experience performing DOT annual inspections or brakes, or completing tech school certification.
- Must possess or obtain a toolbox and required tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration, and APU units.
- Troubleshoot and repair fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and cooling systems.
- Repair trailer bodies, rear doors, and structural components.
- Complete FHWA inspections and tire services (mount, balance, repair).
