Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management is seeking a Part-Time Junior Fleet Mechanic in Holland, MI. You will support fleet mechanics with mower repairs, oil changes, blade sharpening, and equipment cleaning while helping keep the shop organized. The role runs Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with compensation from $16 to $20 per hour based on experience.

Requirements include 1+ years of repair/diagnostic experience with small engines, and a valid U.S. driver\'s license.

Qualifications

• One or more years of repair and diagnostic experience with small engines.
• Experience working with landscaping equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools and shop equipment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a team.

Responsibilities

Position: Junior Fleet Mechanic Location: Holland, MI Job Id: 3323 # of Openings: 1 Junior Fleet Mechanic (Part-Time)

Join our team as a Part-Time Junior Fleet Mechanic and play an important role in maintaining the equipment that keeps our operations running smoothly. This position will work Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM and is responsible for assisting fleet mechanics with mower and equipment repairs, changing oil, replacing and sharpening mower blades, washing equipment, and supporting overall shop cleanliness and organization.

Pay: $16 - $20 per hour, depending on experience

Requirements:

• One or more years of repair and diagnostic experience with small engines required.
• Experience working with landscaping equipment preferred.
• General knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Physical requirements:
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Ability to push and pull equipment and materials as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely use and grasp hand and power tools.
  • Ability to perform work involving repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work both outdoors and in noisy environments.
