PJM Interconnection is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst in the Budget & Analysis department. The role focuses on financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and support for project funding within the SAP system.

• Bachelor's degree (or working towards) in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.

Responsabilités

• Assists in development of monthly financial reporting used by PJM Executive Team to monitor company and divisional financial performance.
• Assists with preparing forecasts and budgets for operational expenditures.
• Assists in development of financial analysis, reporting and presentation information to PJM management, Finance Committee, Audit Committee and PJM's Board of Directors on current financial position and company performance on goals and long-range financial plans.
• Provides project financial data for preparation of budget and project presentation materials for the Executive Team, Finance Committee, Members Committee and PJM's Board of Managers.
• Assists with analyzing project funding requests ensuring appropriate levels of Authorization for Capital (AFC) have been completed.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy for project portfolio funding requests.
• Analyzes project postings for accuracy, identifying and investigating unusual postings to ensure proper correcting journal entries are posted when necessary.
• Maintains and updates all project system and pricing model desk procedures and internal controls documentation.
