Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking an Associate in Financial Planning & Analysis to lead budgeting and forecasting activities, and prepare management reports for senior leadership. You will partner with P&A and other finance teams to understand results and present insights to the Operating Committee and Board.

The role emphasizes accurate, timely deliverables and collaboration across lines of business, with responsibility for various analytics and ad hoc projects in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years experience handling large data sets and analyzing P&L and balance sheet drivers.
• Finance/planning experience in banking or financial services.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint).
• Experience consolidating, reviewing, analyzing and presenting financials.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management abilities with a delivery focus.
• Excellent oral and written communication and relationship management.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Self-starter who seeks improvements and drives execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, consolidate, review and analyze budget and forecast data, Board updates and earnings.
• Deliver timely financial updates for Operating Committee and Regulators.
• Analyze line of business models, earnings sensitivities, and strategic initiatives.
• Support ad hoc analyses and senior management requests.
• Support additional one-off and repeatable analyses as needed.
