This is not a desk-only engineering role. The ideal candidate enjoys being close to the work, solving problems in real time, coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams, and helping turn engineered concepts into fully operational systems.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the leadership and coordination of engineering, testing, installation, commissioning, and field deployment activities
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership during field installation, system testing, troubleshooting, and implementation
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, controls, instrumentation, structural, and related engineering disciplines
  • Develop and execute field plans, installation procedures, testing and commissioning strategies, project schedules, and technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot complex technical and system-integration challenges during testing and deployment

  • Track project schedules, deliverables, resources, technical risks, and field activities while helping drive issues to resolution
  • Support proposals and business development efforts through technical scopes, execution strategies, estimates, schedules, and presentations
  • Mentor junior engineers and technical staff while promoting a collaborative, safety-focused culture
  • Travel to project sites, client facilities, supplier locations, and deployment locations as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Approximately 5 to 7+ years of engineering experience
  • Background in project engineering, R&D, testing, commissioning, field engineering, deployment, or a combination of these areas
  • Hands-on experience with installation, testing, commissioning, system deployment, or technical troubleshooting
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering or technical teams
  • Strong practical problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience working directly with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-moving office and field environments
  • Willingness and ability to travel in support of project execution
Particularly Relevant Backgrounds

Candidates who have helped take technically complex projects from research and design through testing, commissioning, deployment, and operational use will be especially well aligned.

Experience within industries such as energy, industrial systems, infrastructure, aerospace, defense, advanced technology, or complex engineered systems is highly desirable.

Who Will Thrive Here?

A hands-on engineering professional who can move comfortably between the technical and operational sides of a project. Someone who can collaborate with engineers in a design discussion, work alongside technicians during field deployment, troubleshoot an unexpected system issue, coordinate multiple project stakeholders, and confidently represent the organization in front of a client.
