Job summary

Genuine Search Group is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to support mission-critical industrial projects in Odessa, TX. This hands-on role partners with project management and field teams to move projects from planning through completion.

The ideal candidate has 2-5+ years in construction or engineering, a background in industrial, energy, oil & gas, commercial, or infrastructure sectors, and a degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience in construction, engineering, project coordination, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Experience in industrial, energy, oil & gas, commercial, or infrastructure construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of industrial construction projects from start through closeout.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and other project documentation for accuracy and constructability.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, material tracking, and other project documentation.
• Monitor field progress and help ensure work is being completed according to plans, specifications, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
