Job summary

Edgemine in Los Angeles is seeking a Junior Sales Account Executive to manage existing and new accounts in the juniors, young contemporary or missy sectors. You will create compelling sales presentations, research accounts, and grow the account matrix with opportunities.

Responsibilities include formulating seasonal plans, coordinating with Design/Production, and traveling to trade shows like MAGIC Vegas twice yearly to maximize re-orders and profitability.

Qualifications

• 2 - 6 years of experience managing accounts in the apparel industry.
• Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within different departments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with knowledge of retail math.
• Excellent presentation and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling sales presentations and product assortments for accounts.
• Consistently research assigned accounts and the market to identify growth opportunities.
• Formulate and execute seasonal sales plans, including profitability of the account.
• Manage all customer-related activities, including order maintenance and confirmations.
• Track weekly retail selling to discover new opportunities for re-orders and forward strategies.
• Collaborate with Design and Production on special cut opportunities.
• Travel to customers and attend trade shows as needed; MAGIC Vegas is required 2 times a year.
