Job summary

The Building People seeks a Junior Facilities Assistant to support BAS-based reporting for customers in Kings Point, NY. You will monitor facilities systems, interact with equipment alarms, and dispatch appropriate personnel to ensure timely responses to issues affecting building performance.

The role requires 2+ years using MS Office and related IT tools, with experience or exposure to building automation systems. Some remote duties may apply based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years in MS Office applications or equivalent experience.
• Must demonstrate ability to interact with BAS and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and dispatch personnel to building equipment alarms and life-safety alarms.
• Receive and dispatch priority service calls per procedures.
• Use MAXIMO to create and manage work orders and respond to customer requests.
• Maintain daily logs of work performed and alarms handled.
• Monitor device communications across BAS and other critical systems.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
