Job summary

Worley Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator in Baton Rouge, LA to develop FEL estimates and capital cost estimates for energy, chemicals and resources projects. You will work with multi-discipline teams to improve accuracy and deliverables.

Requirements include a BS in Engineering/Construction Management, extensive EPC estimating experience, and strong communication. Proficiency with ACCE and Cleopatra is preferred along with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Mining, minerals, battery materials, refining, oil, gas and chemical estimating experience.
• Knowledge of EPC estimating practices and methods.
• Understanding of project and construction management concepts.
• Ability to develop conceptual estimates and communicate with clients.
• Strong client relations and teamwork across design disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop FEL estimates from Conceptual to Detailed.
• Deliver capital cost estimates with accuracy improvements.
• Estimate on small projects and proposals in an estimator capacity.
• Apply advanced estimating techniques with project team collaboration.
• Prepare estimate plans, data, and basis documents with assumptions.
