Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. seeks an Analyst to join our Equity Derivatives Sales and Trading team in New York. You will help execute, price, and manage structured products for institutional clients, collaborating with Sales, Trading, Structuring, Legal and Operations.

You will gain exposure to business development activities and client-facing responsibilities while developing into a junior sales role within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in derivatives, structured products, or related capital markets.
• FINRA Series SIE, 7 and 63 certifications are required or strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical and quantitative skills.
• Advanced Excel; Python or VBA experience preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the pricing and execution of structured product and derivative transactions.
• Coordinate trade, post-trade and lifecycle workflows across stakeholders.
• Review trade details, pricing and documentation for accuracy.
• Assist with pricing, payoff analysis and client materials.
• Support insurance-related transactions and automated project initiatives.
