Job summary

Mizuho in New York is seeking a Syndicate / Transaction Management Analyst within Leveraged Finance. You will support the full lifecycle of leveraged loan and high yield bond transactions, coordinating with syndicate, sales & trading, credit, legal, and operations to drive execution and investor communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience in corporate banking, capital markets, syndicated finance, or loan operations is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bloomberg is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution and syndication of leveraged loan and high yield bond transactions across corporate, sponsor, and project finance clients.
• KYC and onboarding of new clients and institutional investors for bond and loan transactions.
• Coordinate underwriting approval processes and transaction-related internal governance requirements.
• Support transaction settlements, allocations, fee processing, and issuer payment activities.
• Assist with syndicate administration, investor communications, lender records maintenance, and payment processing for syndicate member institutions.
• Produce and maintain transaction reporting, pipeline reporting, and daily P&L reporting for the Leveraged Finance business.
• Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, Compliance, Regulatory, and Finance teams on transaction-related requests and requirements.
• Support deal teams through the full transaction lifecycle from mandate through closing and post-close administration.
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives across the Leveraged Finance and Syndicate platforms.
