The successful candidate will draft and negotiate complex trading documentation, provide legal coverage for various products, and advise on regulatory matters. A Juris Doctor degree and membership in the New York State Bar are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant legal experience within a financial institution or top-tier law firm.
• Proactive and able to operate independently while exercising sound judgment.
• Detail-oriented and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal coverage for the equities sales and trading business.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex trading documentation.
• Advise on regulatory and documentation requirements related to derivatives.
