Job summary

APTIM Environmental & Infrastructure, LLC in Irvine, CA is seeking a junior-level Environmental Scientist. The role involves supporting RCRA and state waste compliance, stormwater, and other media with 50% office and 50% field work requiring travel to client facilities.

You will prepare technical and regulatory reports, perform data analyses, and conduct diverse fieldwork to ensure environmental standards are met across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related area required.
• 3-4 years of related work experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint Online; ability to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage diverse work scopes to meet schedules and budgets.
• Collect and interpret scientific data and perform field work as required.
• Research project/site requirements using environmental databases and document results in reports.
• Work independently and with project teams, adapting to client needs.
• Draft technical documents for regulatory agencies and clients.
• Communicate with regulatory agencies and client personnel.
