Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Junior Environmental Engineer for entry-level work on small projects or as part of a larger project in the Sacramento area. You will assist senior engineers in evaluating and designing civil and environmental systems, and conduct related calculations and field work.

You will support development of engineering reports, learn codes and standards compliance, and contribute to data collection and design decisions on diverse assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 18 months.
• 0-3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs civil and environmental engineering design using AutoCAD, Bentley, and related software.
• Coordinates with other disciplines under the direction of a senior engineer/designer.
• Performs field work as directed by a senior engineer/designer.
