Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Junior Environmental Engineer in California (Sacramento/Roseville area). You will support civil and environmental engineering tasks under close supervision, performing design work, calculations, field activities, and data collection to support projects across the western US.

This entry-level role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and an EIT or plan to obtain within 18 months, with 0–3 years of experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 18 months.
• 0–3 years of experience in environmental/civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Performs civil and environmental design using AutoCAD and Bentley software.
• Collaborates with engineering disciplines under supervision of a senior engineer/designer.
• Performs field work and data collection per project needs.
• Performs engineering calculations to analyze civil and environmental components.
• Assist in preparing portions of larger engineering reports.
