Job summary

Stantec is seeking an on‑call Environmental Engineering Intern (entry‑level) to support the Water Resources and Engineering Group in Northern California, based in Sacramento (C Street) office. You will assist with environmental compliance, grading and utility design, stormwater, and field work within a multi‑disciplinary team.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in environmental or civil engineering.
High School diploma obtained or in progress with STEM emphasis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required.

Responsibilities

Field inspections and data collection.
Post‑collection data entry and management.
Technical report writing including tables and figures.
Assist engineers in preparing contract documents and reports for civil projects.
Computer aided design and drafting, geospatial analysis, mapping, and basic calculations.
May assist in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling efforts.
