GHD is seeking a Graduate Environmental Professional to join the Contaminated Assessment & Remediation team in the Detroit, MI area. This entry-level role supports senior colleagues with data collection, reporting, and environmental assessments while gaining exposure to bid processes and client management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field is typical.
• Interest in environmental consulting, R&D, and HSE practices.

Responsibilities

• Support bid/tender activities by gathering information and assisting in drafting documents.
• Assist in client relationship management using relevant systems.
• Participate in a community of practice to build domain expertise.
• Collect data from standard sources and input into standard formats for reports.
• Organize and prepare complex documents using office software.
• Conduct routine environmental impact assessments using specified systems.
• Contribute to environmental risk management in line with regulations.
• Follow HSE policies and identify and escalate safety risks as needed.
• Develop personal capabilities through training and coaching.
• Support project management activities across small to mid-size initiatives.
• Collect samples and perform testing as directed to support regulatory compliance.
