Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking an engineer to assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, plans and specifications for assigned projects. You will work with the project team, applying engineering techniques and criteria to designs of varying size and complexity.

You will develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations to support project execution, using current drawing and technical tools.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Shows understanding of engineering principles relevant to the discipline.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Supports preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design.
